Refund Policy

The student will receive a full refund of all tuition monies paid if the student cancels within three business days after receiving written notice of acceptance.  TIBIA will give this full refund within ten business days.  A student who withdraws or is dismissed after attending at least one class, but before completing 60% of the instruction in the current enrollment period, is entitled to a pro rata refund as follows:

At Least  But Less Than Refund of Tuition
1 day 10% 90%
10% 20% 80%
20% 30% 70%
30% 40% 60%
40% 50% 50%
50% 60% 40%
60% 100% no refund

As part of this policy, the program will retain the one-time application fee of $100. A student will receive a tuition refund within 30 days of termination. If a student withdraws after completing 60% of the instruction, the program may refund a pro rata amount, if withdrawal is due to mitigating circumstances beyond the student’s control.

The exception to this is a student receiving VA educational benefits.  Such a student is entitled to a pro rata refund of the tuition based on the number of hours completed, plus a pro rata refund of $90 of the application fee based on the number of hours completed.  The school will keep $10 of the application fee.

Tuition

Tuition is $7,300. A down payment of $500 is required, and a payment plan is available.  Payments to TIBIA may be made by cash, check, money order, or credit card.  If a payment is more than 10 days late, the student will be charged an additional late fee of 5% of the delinquent payment.  For student loans, students are encouraged to apply for financing with their bank or credit union.  Diplomas are issued when tuition is paid in full.
