Ethics as Soul Work & World Service —
Creating One’s Own Inner Ethical Code

Massage therapy and bodywork is a vocation that requires constant renewal of mind, heart, and spirit if we want to avoid burnout, take joy in our work, and grow in our service to others. This course invites an exploration of our unique gifts and vulnerabilities. A few of the questions we will explore together are "Who is the 'me' that shows up in the session room? What experience do we want to most offer our clients? What part of me gets in the way?" To help support this learning, we will weave together art work, music, community dialogue, self-inquiry, lecture and quiet reflection. This day promises to foster spiritual nourishment along with exploring the elements of healing that go beyond technique.
